Patients with diabetes need to avoid salty diet?

Diabetic patients as a result of the body relative or absolute lack of insulin, causing blood sugar to increase, and this is what we call "high blood sugar." The continuing occurrence of high blood sugar can increase extracellular osmotic pressure, leading to cell dehydration, so diabetic patients without hi drink to quench their thirst. If a large number of diabetic patients to eat salty foods, will salt (sodium chloride) content in the blood increased, resulting in "high sodium." If the "high blood sugar" + "high sodium" must be caused by cell dehydration aggravated the situation, so that the role of an imbalance of insulin increased, metabolic disorders, so that further deterioration.

Therefore, patients with diabetes in addition to actively cooperate with the treatment, in the diet, not only to avoid sugar, should also avoid salt to the main light.
